Benjamin Ajak was born in 1982 in a village in Southern
Sudan. In 1987, at the age of five, Benjamin's village
was attacked and he fled alone into the night. Benjamin
was one of twenty thousand boys, who became known to the
world as The Lost Boys
, who fled across Africa's largest
country. Benjamin's bravery and perseverance through
unimaginable injustices and hardships is a testimony to
the strength of the human spirit. Co-author of They
Poured Fire on Us From the Sky, Benjamin will share with
us his extraordinary story of survival.
