The 25 acrobats in Golden Dragon Acrobats, originally from Cangzhou, Hebei province in the People’s Republic of China, are athletes, actors, and artists who have trained since childhood. They will amaze you with acrobatic feats they perform using their bodies and simple props including everyday objects like plates, jugs, bicycles, umbrellas and more.

Global Drum Project reunited to celebrate the fifteen-year anniversary of the critically acclaimed album Planet Drum. The first ever Grammy Award winner in the World Music Category, this all-star global percussion ensemble, highlighting percussionists from India, Africa, Cuba, and North America, defines the term "world beat." Featuring Mickey Hart, Zakir Hussain, Sikiru Adepoju, and Giovanni Hidalgo.

Benjamin Ajak was born in 1982 in a village in Southern Sudan. In 1987, at the age of five, Benjamin's village was attacked and he fled alone into the night. Benjamin was one of twenty thousand boys, who became known to the world as The Lost Boys, who fled across Africa's largest country. Benjamin's bravery and perseverance through unimaginable injustices and hardships is a testimony to the strength of the human spirit. Co-author of They Poured Fire on Us From the Sky, Benjamin will share with us his extraordinary story of survival.

We are very fortunate to have Tim Wise join us with his lecture: Beyond "Diversity": Challenging Racism in an Age of Backlash. Tim Wise is among the most prominent anti-racist writers and activists in the U.S. He has spoken to over 300,000 people in 48 states, and on over 350 college campuses, including Harvard, Stanford, and the Law Schools at Yale and Columbia. Wise is the author of two books: White Like Me: Reflections on Race from a Privileged Son and Affirmative Action: Racial Preference in Black and White.
