Robert P. Knowles Physical Education and Recreation Center

The Robert P. Knowles Center is home to UWRF Indoor Track and Field, Tennis, Intramurals, and All-American Series of Sport. Knowles is also the summer home of the Kansas City Chiefs and offers a variety of membership packages available to the community.

There are numerous opportunities at the Knowles Center including: a 200 meter track, basketball courts, tennis courts, volleyball courts, a rock climbing wall (not included in membership packages), two StairMasters, and and one stationary bike. Individual memberships are free to all UW-River Falls students, faculty, and staff. Family members of UW-River Falls students, faculty, and staff may purchase a membership or pay the daily admission fee to use the Knowles Center.

Knowles Center is open from the first day of Fall classes through the Tuesday before Fall Commencement. Knowles Center reopens the Tuesday after Fall Commencement through the Tuesday of Spring Commencement. Knowles Center is not open Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Day and Easter.
