University Recreation & Sport Facilities is a department within the Student Affairs Division at the University or Wisconsin-River Falls. University Recreation & Sport Facilities provides a variety of programs and services to meet the needs and interests of the students, faculty, staff, and surrounding River Falls Community. One of the department's goals is to provide a broad program of sport, fitness and recreation activities for students and community members of all ability levels in order to enhance individuals academic productivity, personal effectiveness and quality of life. University Recreation & Sport Facilities also plays a role in UW-River Falls Athletics. The department houses 8 varsity athletic teams, manages both the W.H. Hunt Ice Arena and Robert P. Knowles Fieldhouse, and oversees game administration for Men's and Women's Ice Hockey, Women's Soccer and shares Falcon Football responsibilities. From community events, UWRF Athletic events, home of the Kansas City Chiefs Summer Training Camp, and Hunt Arena Skating School, the University Recreation & Sport Facilities department is a dynamic piece of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls
