Conference Policies and Procedures
The University is proud to offer a Conference Plan to Conferences and Camps utilizing Dining
Services. Contact the Director of University Dining Services for questions and arrangements.
Dining ArrangementsAll Dining Service arrangements must be arranged through the Director of University Dining Services.
All conference programs utilizing University residence facilities are required to participate
fully in the meal service program provided by the contracted food service provider for the
duration of their stay. Nonresidential programs are also welcome to use University Dining
Services.
Riverside Commons
Meal service is generally provided at Riverside Commons, but may be moved to other venues based
upon attendance at a particular meal.
The menu will be the same as that served to all patrons of the summer meal plan. In addition to
the regular entrees, lunch and dinner will include a full salad bar, vegetable bar and dessert
bar. All meals include vegetarian options.
Riverside Commons is designed as a one price, all-you-care-to-eat dining facility. Guests are
asked to take only what they can comfortably eat and are asked to be mindful of food waste. Food,
beverages, or dishes are not permitted to be carried out of the dining room. Guests are asked to
leave tables and chairs in place (please do not move tables together). Guests are asked to remove
all trays and dishes to the dish return line upon completion of their meal. Guests are asked not
to return to Riverside Commons once they enter the tray return line.
Catering and Alcohol Service
Dining Services can provide a wide variety of catering services to meet your specific programmatic needs.
Alcohol, as with all food and beverage needs, must be arranged through the Director of University
Dining Services. Alcohol service is subject to the approval of the appropriate University officials.
