The residence halls are locked 24 hours per day, 7 days
per week. You must have a valid campus ID card and live in a residence hall to
enter the buildings.
The
Carding Office
distributes and manages the Campus ID cards used for many services available to students and staff. The Carding Office is located in 131 Hagestad Hall.
Meal Plan, Dining Dollars, and Falcon Dollars Usage
The ID card is used to help keep track of student and
staff meal plan access and balances. You can also use your ID card to purchase food in the
Dining Services locations, items from the
Falcon Shop
, or copies from the copy machines found in the
library
.
Identification
The ID card is used to validate your current university
status for check cashing at
University CenterInformation Desk
. Students and staff wishing to use the
Hunt and Knowles
facilities will be asked to present their ID card for
scanning before allowed access. ID cards are also used
when obtaining health care.
Laundry Facilities
The residence hall laundry facilities accept your ID
card.
How does this all work?
All of this starts with the stripe on the back of the
card which is encoded with your student/staff ID number.
This number identifies you with our computer access
system and if you are participating on a meal plan it
allows you access into the
dining rooms
. If you purchase Falcon Dollars, this stripe allows you to
spend your
Falcon Dollars
in all
Dining Services
locations, in the
Falcon Shop
, or to use the copy machines.
